Welcome to Whitehouse Junior School

Whitehouse Junior School

Whitehouse Junior School has been serving the local community for over 50 years. In that time there have been many changes and the school has benefited from an ongoing programme of redecoration and refurbishment. The buildings are light and airy and we are well resourced. We are at the forefront of the use of ICT to support learning, with two ICT suites, an Interactive Whiteboard, digital projector and internet access in every classroom.

Our results are on an upward trend and there have been significant improvements in our results over the last 4 years, which we are very proud of. At Whitehouse we care about all of our pupils, and want them to do the best they can. We aim to provide a fun and exciting place in which to learn, and organise a range of exciting activities and trips to support children's learning.

We have very good relationships with White House Community Infant School and Westbourne Sports College, as well as with other schools in the Westbourne pyramid. There are several joint projects and initiatives taking place that we are part of.

We are proud of the support that we offer all of our children and the excellent relationships that we have with parents and carers. We really believe that the best way for your child to succeed is for us to work in partnership with you. If you would like to come and see us during an ordinary working day you are welcome to attend one of our regular ‘Open Mornings', or alternatively please telephone to arrange a visit. I look forward to meeting you.
